Keith Farmer was a British professional motorcycle sportsperson. He is a Multiple British and National Champion. On November 10, 2022, it was announced that Farmer, who is a Four-time British Champion had passed away suddenly at the age of 35.
In 2011, he won the Superstock 600 crown with his own team. He later moved into the Superstock 1000 class with Paul Bird the following year. On his Kawasaki, Farmer recorded five wins and eight podiums ending the year 50 points clear of Jason O’Halloran winning the title.
The following year, Farmer was promoted to Bird’s Superbike team, they however called off their partnership before the end of the season. In 2014, Farmer switched to PR Racing, where he recorded the one and only BSB podium at Brands Hatch (3rd). In 2017 Farmer won the British Supersport title with Appleyard Macadam Yamaha.
Farmer retired from racing in September 2021 after a series of big crashes, speaking about his decision to retire, Farmer said: “I have had a tough year but that’s just racing. I have realised that it is time to walk away. I’ve had 10 good years of racing in the BSB paddock, riding for some of the best teams. I count myself extremely lucky to have been given these opportunities and with these I have won four British titles.”
